thankyou, you are actually that amazing! i guess it was a summer romance and summer's over now so i need to move on. but the thing is we were like the best of friends before we started dating and now its over he wants to go back to being good friends but i think i need some time apart to let myself heal and get over him and i do think we can go back to how it was but he texts me like every day because he thinks we're all normal again, is it unfair of me to want to have some space??
I don’t think it’s unfair at all for you to want to have some space! You gotta do what you gotta do, and it’d be unfair of him to expect you to just get over this immediately. You need time to come to terms with it, and if he really wants to be friends again then you need to let him know and he needs to understand that. If he’s really a good friend he’ll let you do your thing and be waiting for you when you’re ready to be friends again. Take your break and make it as long as it needs to be! You’re worth it.
